Rich North is an advertising Art Director and Cartoonist for The New Yorker, known for creating some of the world’s most memorable and emotionally resonant content.
His belief in the power of storytelling drives work that is not only commercially effective but also connects with people on a deeply human level.
Throughout his advertising career, Rich has partnered with major brands including Audi, Beringer Wine, C3.AI, LinkedIn, Old Navy, Toyota, and U.S. Cellular. His work has been recognized across every major industry award show, including Cannes, D&AD, One Show, and AICP.
A lifelong admirer of The New Yorker’s distinctive cartoon style, Rich fulfilled a personal dream by becoming a published cartoonist for the magazine in 2024.
His work continues to appear in the print edition and across The New Yorker’s social platforms.
